Over the years, I’ve honed the approach and processes I take to ensure the best outcome for my clients. As every business is unique, each step is tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of your organisation.

The sections below outline the proven steps to success that I follow.

Exploratory call

We begin with an initial video call which usually lasts 30 minutes and no longer than an hour. Not only does this enable me to understand more about your business, it’s also important for you to decide if I’m the right person to help you build a better future for your business.

My ability to “get” businesses, their challenges and in turn, the hidden potential they can tap into with the right strategy, is where I excel. In order to really make a difference however, it’s critical that we have an excellent working relationship which is why the exploratory call is an important first step.

Regardless of the outcome, feedback from other businesses owners is that you will come away with a number of valuable takeaways you can apply to your business.

Discovery session(s)

Having both agreed to work together, a longer and more involved session is used to explore the goals and outcomes you and your business are looking to achieve.

Carried out as one or more 1-2-1’s between myself and all key stakeholders, each one usually lasts between three and four hours.

Discovery sessions offer tremendous value and are provided free of charge. The reason for this is because it’s my investment to ensure that I have the necessary information to create the roadmap of future work and success.

Unpacking session

The first paid-for session is used to unpack the information gained from the discovery sessions. 

It has always proved to be a session of enlightenment and provides the first steps towards greater clarity with regards to the work that needs to be done and the future direction of the company.

Regular monthly sessions

Most clients find a dedicated, one day per month yields the greatest results.

These days will have regular agenda items including:

  • A review of how previous action points are progressing
  • Any pressing and important business challenges that have arisen
  • The focus session as per the agreed plan

As any business owner knows, momentum is never a straight line. Please be rest assured that changes to the agenda are allowed, if not actively encouraged.

Length of engagement

I won’t tie you into a long-term contract. I operate on a one-month rolling agreement because I understand that the needs of your business can change at short notice.

I’m very fortunate to retain most of my clients for many years which I believe comes down to two reasons. As I mentioned earlier, the groundwork we put in at the beginning ensures we’re a great fit for each other. Secondly, by really taking the time to understand you and your business I can ensure that you get the results you deserve from all your hard work and dedication.
